Thanks for all your sweet compliments on the maps I used to fill the frames in my family room. I loved reading all your comments and emails yesterday about the creative projects that you’ve done with maps.
So let’s see them! I thought it would be fun to see some the ways that you’ve gotten creative with maps. I’d love for you to link up your posts where you show your map projects. This is totally spur-of-the-moment, so don’t worry if they’re old posts. Just go get ‘em and link ‘em up here!
Go! Now! Then come back.

LOVE the chalkbaord map projects. I’m definitely going to try that this weekend. I have a map pillow, but I didn’t make it. It’s here if you want to see b/c the etsy seller is amazing. http://elzabelz.blogspot.com/2011/03/friday-favorite-texas-pillow.html
Fun linky party. Sad I don’t have anything to add!
I love that dresser! And that map artwork from Creative Juices Decor was one of my inspirations for my own map wall art. Thanks for sharing and for hosting this linkup party. I can’t wait to see what everyone else is doing with maps.

I saved an old atlas and used maps of places we’ve visited to decoupage the sides, top, & bottom of a shoe box – which we now use as a gift box (only for ourselves as we don’t want to lose it!). It’s fun to revisit some of our trips when we use the box. I haven’t added this to me website yet, so no photo to share.
So excited that you are doing this! I just came up with what I though was the totally unique idea to decorate our basement rec room with maps. Huh, apparently great minds think alike? Instead of grieving over the fact that I’m really not all that original, I’m going to steal some of these great ideas! Yay for maps!
