Favorite Things

Each week, I get to share some of my favorite finds from you crazy-talented people, most of them coming from DIY Day. But I’m only human…I find my eyes drawn to certain types of projects. I can’t help but to link to every treehouse and play kitchen post. I’m a sucker for them. So this week, we’re doing something a little different.

My friend, Kimm of Reinvented, is here to share HER favorite projects from this week’s DIY Day! I adore Kimm. She has been a blogging friend for a long-time and since I got to hug her at Blissdom, she’s a real-life friend now too.

Her blog is written for all of us who want to have a beautiful home without spending buckets of money. She knows her way around a can of spray paint and each week she hosts Trash to Treasure Tuesday. It’s a fantastic place to see what all the Internets are doing with their attic/thrift store/trash picking finds.

Hello friends and fans of Kimba! I am so excited to be here today to share my favorite projects from Kimba’s weekly mob scene, I mean, DIY party.

I {heart} this frame made from unfinished wood and fabric scraps, from Stories By Me. Love me some fabric scraps.

Would you believe that Melissa, at 320 Sycamore, cut a coffee table in HALF to make this fabulous bench? YES. SHE. DID.

Jessica, from A Few of My Favorite Things, is a genius, I think. What an inspiring photo collage.

Are you a fan of dollars? Trees? Topiaries? Well, then you’ve got to try this topiary made from Dollar Tree supplies, from Cleared For Takeoff.

This wreath gives me HOPE. Hope that spring will someday come to Ohio. Jen, from TaterTots and Jello crafted this wreath from plastic bottles. Oh, to think like Jen does, that is my dream.

Or, to sew like Heidi from Heart and Home. I think it’s good to have GOALS.
