DIY Day with Sodderbug Photo Charms

Welcome to DIY Day! Are you ready to share your latest project? We have 2 fantastic prizes this week! One for the linker-uppers and one for the commenters!

If you’re new here, every Tuesday we get together to share our newest DIY projects. I’m really flexible about what constitutes a DIY project. A furniture makeover, an outdoor project, a seasonal craft, some new artwork…maybe a great recipe?

Sodderbug can turn your favorite photo into a beautiful charm that you can wear and treasure.

What mom or grandma wouldn’t love a photo of her babies or grand babies as a precious charm. It’s like a modern day locket. And since each charm is double-sided, you could put the kids names on the other side.

But the options don’t stop at a photo. You could make a charm with your favorite bible verse, your blog button or your kiddo’s artwork. Check out the Sodderbug site for tons of fantastic ideas.

I’m wild about the idea of making a charm for a college-bound high-school senior. Wouldn’t this make a fantastic graduation gift? If she’s already in college, you could put her sorority on the other side.
