Welcome to DIY Day with My Design Guide! Today we have a 11 (Yes, ELEVEN!) fantastic prizes from My Design Guide and you DON’T have to link up a post to win!
My Design Guide is the brainchild of Champe Granger and Roger Bouchard. They are experienced home renovators who LOVE a good bargain (my kind of people!). They created My Design Guide for people who want real, professional, custom interior design, but don’t want to pay a lot for it.
My Design Guide offers online design consultations for simple things like paint selection and window treatment recommendations, all the way up to complete custom room designs! They can help you with your project whether it’s big or small.
Their design consultations include gorgeous 3D pictures that show what their recommendations will look like in your room. Here’s one of my favorites:
Family Room Before
One of the things I love best about My Design Guide is that their designs are based on products from affordable stores that we all know…Target, Ballard Designs, Pier 1, Walmart, Overstock.com and others. At the end of your consultation, you’ll receive a shopping list with every suggested item on it. It will contain prices and links to the stores where you can find the products.
And even if you can’t afford the specific item that they suggest, you can use it as inspiration to do it yourself or find something similar at a thrift store.
Bed & Breakfast Guest Room Redesign

I would have such a hard time figuring out what room needs the most help – it would be between picking art & accessories for my living room and a paint color to re-paint my kitchen in. This is a great idea!

I have been struggling with my living room for YEARS! I would love some direction.
My kitchen – a combination of awkward and ugly – is a sad 1950′s who tried to reinvent herself in 1973 and gave it one last go in 1982. The mishmash is horrendous. And yet, it remains because I cannot figure out how to improve the looks on my minute budget. Sigh.

My office needs help! I can’t figure out the furniture layout.
I just finished transforming my dining room and love the results. My bathroom is blah, though – construction grade cabinet, basic white tile, definitely in need of a little TLC.
I can’t even tell you how much of a lifesaver this program would be! We just bought a home & I’m having the hardest time with our SPORTS/GAME ROOM. My hubby plays in the NFL & I have tons of memorabilia I have to somehow incorporate in this one room. Help!

oh, i would love either an exterior makeover on my cape cod style home, or a basement/media room 3d mockup. our basement is undergoing a major redo from being part under house garage, complete with cinder block walls, to full finished basement with bar and drive in/diner feel.

I’m trying to re-do our master bedroom for little to no money. This would be great for some inspiration! I like the Bed and Breakfast room on their website.
Oh, I know exactly what room could use help! We have a “bonus” room above our garage. It is a decent sized space but, it is part play room, part office. My girls are getting older (6 & 9) so the cutesie styles are becoming obsolete. They still use the space to play and store toys and a lot of stuffed animals. Yikes! Help!

I would love some help with my family room. I keep thinking I am going to make a slipcover for my couch, but I can’t figure out what color to make it. I also have an ugly green chair that my husband will not give up. Then the other day I thought maybe we need to change the paint color? I don’t know!! Help!!!
This is a winderfule give a way ! Our family room needs HELP! I never know how to place the furnature and get everyhting pulled together.
How could I choose just ONE project? If I had to narrow it down, I’d go with the guest bath. We ripped off the hideous wallpaper a year ago and took down the 70′s style mirror, and took out the toilet…then we stopped. Eventually we put the toilet back in, but there is NOTHING but ripped-away plaster on the walls, no mirror, and the room is hideous. We lie to guests and tell them the downstairs bathroom is broken. Embarassing, right?
