Welcome to DIY Day! Are you ready to share your latest project?
If you’re new here, every Tuesday we get together to share our newest DIY projects. I’m really flexible about what constitutes a DIY project. A furniture makeover, an outdoor project, a holiday craft, some new artwork…maybe a great recipe?

Today, we have a wonderful prize from one of my favorite artists, Jennifer from Studio JRU. Jennifer creates the most beautiful, inspiring and meaningful pieces artwork. If I may quote her directly from her blog, “People may compliment my art but really it is God working through me…I merely hold the paint brush as He miraculously holds me through whatever may come in this life.”
Each piece is an original that she creates with her own ridiculously talented hands. And she is one busy girl with both an etsy shop AND an ArtFire shop.

Did I mention that she’s also created an exclusive line for the (in)courage shop at Dayspring? Pssst….her stuff is on sale over there right now. When I recently received a gift certificate to use in the Dayspring shop, I knew what I wanted immediately. That gorgeous God’s Great Love Handmade Cross is hanging in my kitchen right now. I adore it.
If you click on this: 15% Off All Items from DaySpring through Oct. 1, 2009 with Coupon Code SAVE15, you can save another 15%!

One lucky winner will receive a $40 credit to Studio JRU on ArtFire! You could snap up something for yourself or a gift for someone you love. All you have to do is link up a post to DIY Day and you’ll be entered to win.
And if you’re looking for a meaningful Christmas gift, there’s still time to get something! Just be quick!
Now let’s see those projects! Please, please, please…
- Link to your specific post, not the main page of your blog. I HATE having to delete these. It makes me feel like a big meanie.
- Include a short description of your DIY project in parenthesis after the name of your blog. This helps people browse the HUGE number of projects. And you get MORE clicks!
- Link to this party from your post so everyone can get in on the fun.

Thank you for hosting, Kimba.
I might be the only one not to link up a Christmas project this week.
That’s what I get for having a little girl with a December birthday, huh? I am hoping to find some inexpensive Christmas gift project ideas this week. Thanks again for offering this great spot for us to link up.
This is my first time joining DIY Day. My project is not a Christmas project, but it took me until almost Christmas to get it done, even though we started talking about it right around last Christmas, so I guess it counts.
Thanks so much for hosting! I really look forward to seeing everyone’s projects.

I don’t have a project for this week, but will be watching others projects with wild abandon. That is, between finishing my Christmas presents–quilts…everyone on my list gets a quilt!
