Pink Pig ~ A Giveaway

by Kimba on August 25, 2009

in Sponsors

I am so excited to introduce you to The Pink Pig. I was a fan of this shop long before she became a sponsor of ASPTL. The Pink Pig is the baby of Debbie Schrodt, a former Wall Street executive who left NYC in 2006 for a quieter life in the North Country. Doesn’t that sound like a dream?

The Pink Pig is an irresistible blend of city style and simple country charm. It has something for all of you City Pigs and all of you Country Pigs, too. I think this La Maison Charm is perfect for a City Pig or a Country Pig.

You Country Pigs are probably all a-cluck for the Chicken Grain Sack Pillows.

If I could win my own giveaway, I would get myself this Beau Soleil Bag. I love it!

In addition to all of these pretties, Pink Pig is full of carefully selected apparel, home decor, jewelry and signature candle scents.

One lucky winner will receive $50 to spend at Pink Pig! Just leave me a comment telling me if you think you’re a City Pig or a Country Pig. Me? I’m a pseudo-rural, edge of the suburbs, wishing I was a Country Pig, who really needs to be near an urban area so I can satisfy my inner City Pig.

You can get extra entries by:
1. Going to look around Pink Pig and telling me what you love the most from the shop.
2. Mention this giveaway on Twitter, Facebook, MySpace, your blog, wherever you mention things like this.

Leave another comment for each thing that you do. This giveaway will be open until Friday.

I'm a Country pig. But I don't mind visiting the City once in a while.

9 Richella August 25, 2009 at 3:25 pm

Oh, gosh! The Boston terrier statue, maybe? Or the Faith-Hope-Charity sign? Or a grain sack pillow? Choosing would be a LOT of fun!

Thank you for sponsoring this giveaway!

My goodness, there are so many. I love your energy. I put you on my side bar.

I grew up as a city pig, then I married and became a county pig. We've moved 20 times going from contry to city back to country back to city — you get it. Now I'm a city pig. I guess you could say I'm actually a bi-linquel (sp) or bi-poler pig.

Really, I've a very happy pig.

11 Cindy August 25, 2009 at 3:31 pm

ps. this pig forgot to tell you who I was.

Love this give-away love your recovered chairs.

I grew up a Country Pig, with VERY country roots – farmers on both sides. Now, I'm a Suburban Pig, who would love to be a City Pig with a backyard suitable for some country veggies. I love being near restaurants and stores, but I also like my privacy, my clothesline and my garden!

20 Marie August 25, 2009 at 4:46 pm

Hello Kimba – thank you for introducing us to such a creative lady! I will have fun browsing her shop. I would have to say that I am a beach pig with dreams of one day becoming a country pig after retirement. I've always had a desire to live somewhere amongst the fireflies and tall oaks.

Blessings,
Marie

I am a citified country pig. I live in a medium sized city on the cusp of the country. I like the amenities of city life but the beauty of the country. Thankfully, where I live I can easily have both.

24 jenni August 25, 2009 at 5:10 pm

I'm a country pig who is trapped in the city! But we recently bought 10 acres outside of town, so I'm very hopeful to become a full-fledged country pig again soon…

I live in a rural town of 700 and love it, but I consider myself a city pig 'cause I love shopping, eating out, etc.

36 Southern Gal August 25, 2009 at 7:41 pm

Does semi-country pig count? Small town pig? I'm one of those.

37 Southern Gal August 25, 2009 at 7:42 pm

I love any of those beautiful vintage dressers on the Pink Pig site. I've been looking for one for years for a spot I've picked out in my house. Just can't find the perfect piece. That's my second entry.
Thanks!

38 Southern Fried Gal August 25, 2009 at 8:15 pm

I guess I'm officially a city pig nowadays but you know what they say – you can take the pig out of the country but you can't take the country out of the pig…great giveaway!

The shirts and necklaces are all too cute, but not really my style.

46 Leanne August 25, 2009 at 9:17 pm

I'm both, it depends on the day. I love to be out in the dirt gardening and digging around, but I like the convienence of living near everything I need or desire.
