Cute!

When I was bank teller, we were supposed to call all customers by their last names…well, there was one customer, who’s last name was, “Titsworth” and I don’t know why, but I could never call him Mr. Titsworth. Poor guy.

That is too funny!!

Have a happy day!

Hi Bella…this was funny! I wonder how some of these people live with their names…True story: many years ago Texas had a Governor named Hogg…bad enough, but he named his 2 daughters Ima & Ura…;-) Bo

hee heee…Oh my friend…you are getting way to controversial for me. I have a funny bedlam moment that I want to post (not political, but “farm life” in my own back yard, and my hubby just doesn’t know if I should…it’s SO funny though)

Oh, and Sandy Toes must not have mastered the fine art of “red neck” language. So, who’s going to tell her?

tee-hee-he! LOL If I were about to become Mrs. to this Mr., I would definitely have to keep my maiden name!! :)

Yes, Bo was right, We texans sure know how to name our kids… Love the TEETs billboard. I am admitting to copying your pumpkin star idea. But I gave you all the credit!!!

8 Dreaming of Mermaids October 24, 2008 at 9:20 am

hahahahaha! Thanks for the laugh!

9 Lula! October 24, 2008 at 9:34 am

AWESOME!!!!! And that sign would fit in well in Georgia…Alabama…Mississippi…

10 Anonymous October 24, 2008 at 9:54 am

For those of from West Virginia, your “alternate title” is offensive. Thanks for contributing to a stereotype.

11 HeathahLee October 24, 2008 at 9:56 am

That is too funny!

12 HeathahLee October 24, 2008 at 9:57 am

Oh, come on, Anonymous. I’m from Mississippi and Lula’s comment could just as well offend me, but it’s just in good fun!

13 Kimba October 24, 2008 at 10:15 am

Anonymous,

I apologize for offending you. I have deep, deep roots in West Virginia and I love the state.

I just thought the sign was funny and was, in fact, in West Virginia.

But again, it’s not in my nature to deliberately offend, so I’m sorry.

Awwwww, c’mon. It was light hearted and good natured.

I love in Iowa… how many jokes can ya’ think of about Iowa?! It’s funny.

The blogosphere can get heavy, people take themselves too seriously. I for one, love being entertained by mindless silliness sometimes.

Keep on keepin’ on, Kimba. You’ll never win ‘em all.
*hugs*
Darcy

lol! errr… I “live” in Iowa, too.

ppphhhhbbbtttttt!

16 Valarie October 24, 2008 at 10:42 am

It could have easily been in Alabama. :)

17 david santos October 24, 2008 at 10:49 am

I love your creations! I love it! Congratulations and have a nice weekend.

18 emily October 24, 2008 at 11:09 am

You can’t please everyone. Joke away, my friend.

19 My First Kitchen October 24, 2008 at 11:29 am

Anything any of us say will almost certainly offend someone, and of course that’s never the intention. Even though I wasn’t one of those people, I think your apology was very sincere and probably helpful. But I wouldn’t worry another thing about it.

20 Lula! October 24, 2008 at 11:31 am

Kimba, I am being totally serious when I say this…but I loved the sign, I love that I’m from the south, and I LOVE being a classy redneck.

Oh, and my entire family is from Mississippi…it’s where my roots are firmly planted.

The thing is, southerners-most of us-have a sense of humor. So you joke away. I loved it.

21 Astrid October 24, 2008 at 11:37 am

Oh that’s flippin’ funny! Thanks for posting!!!!! (I needed a good laugh!) :)

22 Victoria October 24, 2008 at 12:22 pm

25 Stef October 24, 2008 at 6:38 pm

Kimba I read your blog all the time. Enjoy it very much. I am from West Virginia. I was not offended. We make a lot of jokes about ourselves too. And when I voted (absentee) I thought that name on the ballot was awfully funny myself!

26 Shelia October 24, 2008 at 8:58 pm
